For the summer of 2019, the activity within the prominent corner space of the Frear Building was largely a mystery to the residents of Troy. The large windows remained covered, brown paper obscuring the activity within. On September 12th, the paper came down, just in time for the Grand Opening event of roi Office Interiors' newest showroom!

The space had been completely transformed; where once there were antiques, brand new, modern office furniture was on display as guests began to arrive. Local eatery Peck's Arcade provided the refreshments, with co-owner Vic Christopher keeping the atmosphere upbeat from his DJ booth in the front corner. Kristen Cargill of the Capital Region Chamber spoke, followed by Mayor Patrick Madden. Next was Katie Hammon of the Downtown Troy BID, with a final speech by Robert Angelicola before everyone filed outside for the ribbon cutting.

The rest of the evening was spent in lively conversation between roi's partners: customers, vendors, Troy neighbors and community members, family, and our team. Thank you to everyone who made the event such a success, and we look forward to seeing what the future holds for roi Office Interiors' newest location!
